HULL ID ?? help

hi I am new to this forum and boating all together. I was hoping I could get some help with figuring out what the Hull ID stands for . I believe it will help me figure out what model my bayliner is. I believe it is a 83 Capri Cuddy. Can anyone please help??? THANKS

I went thru this when I bought my 1986 Bayliner Capri your HIN seems a bit different than mine to interpret very well however.....

This is how I'm guessing yours.

BL1C34CK1083-4

BL1 is coast guard number assigned mfg facility yours would be Bayliner Pipestone, MN plant closed in March 1999 same as my boat.

C34 34th boat produced of this Capri model

CK is the model of the boat which I believe C is Capri and K designates a Cuddy

10 is month boat was built

83 is year boat was built

-4 indicates it was model year 84 boat

Getting an interpretation of the CK should tell you if it is a cuddy and I think it is an 84 model produced in the late months of 1983.
