Has anyone had any experience with the Humminbird<br />2005 Fish Finder??????

I was going to ask the same question there are a lot of them on ebay but the humminbird website doesn't list them. I just emailed them to get some info on the finder. will let you know.

I deleted this post due to bad info i received on the unit I bought one and it looks like a pretty good unit.

I bought a Humminbird Matrix 17 last summer. I haven't installed it yet, but I noticed a trim piece was missing from the mount. I emailed humminbird's customer service, and the promptly sent me a new complete mount free of charge, no questions asked. That kind of customer service seems to be a rarity these days. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any humminbird products.

and next day air at that .....right?<br />their customer service is the best<br />i told them i had condensation under the screen on a unit i bought from e-bay...gave them serial number and the next day had a whole unit new in the box....free of charge

We have a matrix 97 combo unit and it works excellently! Had trouble with the flip up transducer mount, called and they sent a new one right away. The wrong navionics chip came with it. (not from Humminbird) I called Humminbird to find out why the unit was not functioning correctly and they diagnosed the problem. I called Navionics and got the correct chip and it works flawlessly. Humminbird's customer service is second to none in my book!
