Humminbird Legend 1000 Transponder Replacement

I’ve got a Humminbird Legend 1000 fish/depth finder on my old boat. The transponder got damaged. Looking for a compatible transponder because can’t find the direct replacement as it’s been out of production for a long time (XT-6-24). Anybody know of a compatible transponder that would work with my Legend1000?

Check e-bay for a used one and cross your fingers.

The unit is 20+ years old at this point. Better off just replacing the unit

Getting ready to sell the boat hence trying to fix the depth finder issue. Not wanting to put to much work into installing a new one as it’s a challenge on a cabin cruiser.

A 20+ yro , obsolete sounder is worthless in the scheme of things when selling a boat.

Save the new owner some work and simply remove the thing
