hummingbird 200DX

Bought a 72 glastron hull a few days ago. No electric on it other than the engine harness. Started running wires for lights and pump. Has a hummingbird 200DX by the wheel so i plugged it in and it worked. I am a compass and rotary phone type guy so it is not that important but it might be neat if i could learn to use it. <br /> Are there any sights that have directions on how these things work? Also, has one thick wire that goes to the transom transducer and another thick wire, must be 20 ft. coiled up under the dash with a flat contactor on the end. What could that be for?
