That is a bargain, such a good deal makes me wonder if it is legit, that unit is normally $699.00

Yup That is the question. So low in price it seems scammy. We'll see, I went thru paypal, recieved confirmation and hopefully a tracking # on mon.

Two things you have to watch for in such a deal. First, does it actually work, does it come with the transducer(s)? Second, What is the shipping cost and from where? If you can't determine those things, leave it alone. That goes doubly if this is out of the country!

I have a couple nice older Fish Finders that were given to me via my son who has a friend in tournament fishing. He upgraded to newer visions and gave his older ones to my son. Problem is I didn't get the power cords or transducers. So when I add up those items, the cost is really up there. Not sure I will use them instead of buying something new ready to go... I did get the memory/map cards though.

Hopefully the PayPal was legit. I don't know how you got into that dark corner of the web, but it looks sketchy. Doing just a little searching about that store platform returns that it is a place used by both legit sellers and scammers alike. Above is one of those articles. Things that seem too good to be true, well, usually are. They claimed security on their site but none of the buttons were clickable. Their contact us only provided a form, and not any actual contact info. Just a couple of the red flags. Hope you didn't get scammed but there's a likelihood that you did. I might freeze my card for a days, or just replace it if I were in your your shoes. Then if it arrives in the mail you can exhale and unclench, but at least you won't have to wonder if more charges will end up on your card in the meantime...

Thanks for the heads up for paypal. I did check and it is my account with the deduct showing. Whew....on that..

$1.00 says it is a scam.

Yeah, and there are some weird things that people can do on the internet, was just saying that if it were me I would probably discontinue the card that was used - even through PayPal.

Sorry you got scammed :/

I did not get scammed and from my experience paypal is checking account linked not credit card based.

Not necessarily. Your choice as to what account you want PP to debit. My account is linked to my credit card.

My credit card is theft protected. My banking account... not so much
