are they nice or junk? I have a 1990 17.5ft open bow with a 4.3 OMC. would a 21 pitch suffice with only two people on board?

Re: Hustler Props?

it is a known brand and you will find that people will love and hate them for no more reason than they may have gotten the one bad one they made

only trail and error will give the best prop in my case the best prop is one size smaller than normal because of the way my boat is used

http://www.mercurymarine.com/everything_you_need_to_know_about_propellers5

after reading this you will understand why it is so hard to answere your question

tommays

Re: Hustler Props?

As far as performance and quality, i like the one I have on my stern drive. They do tend to be "aggressively" pitched in my observation. my 19p 13 1/4 hustler accelerates better than my 21p 13 1/4 michigan, has better bite on the water, and runs with 1mph and 50 rpm of the michigan. I would like to have one for my fishing boat.
