hey gents ! i have currently pulled my boat out of the water and protected it against freezing damage for the winterization. ( volvo penta 3.0 GS PNCA)

1-drained the block with much water coming out
2-drained the manifold with plenty of water out of it
3-removed the hose from the t-stat housing with no water out of it ( after block and manifold drained)
4-removed the lower hose of the impeller pump , pulled it down -with some water out of it ( it connects to the hose for servo steering oil cooler)

i wanted to pull the hose of the circulation pump but this hose is tight as hell.

can be there water in it after draining the block ? i question myself to pull it at every efford or leave it since due to my understanding , after draining the block and head, there cannot be any significant water in it.

thanks for inputs !

It wouldn't be part of the draining procedure if it wasn't necessary.
Use a screw driver around the hose to free it from the pump.
