hydra-sport Question

I like the looks of this boat and the price seems good. I have read good things about the construction of these boats especially from this era.

I want to make sure I have something the family can enjoy too. I would imagine this thing could pull a tube pretty well and certainly it's made for fishing.

let me slightly rephrase,
I like the fact that this is a fishing boat that would be capable of making it onto Lake Michigan...It seems to be a reasonable asking price, and I think it could still keep kids 7 and 10 entertained with swimming of the back or pulled on a tube.
What I have read seems to suggest that these are very well made boats especially those from the late 80's.

am I on the right track with my thinking about this boat?

Generally speaking HydraSports makes a quality boat. You'll need to look this particular one over to be sure it hasn't been abused or neglected. That said if all is well once surveyed the price is very reasonable.

HS has always made a good boat. That one was built in Murfreesboro, TN. I worked for them when they left and moved to Columbia, SC.

That kicker is about a 94/95, I'd take the boat with the kicker for his asking price without...

Sorry, looked at the ad again, '98. Still, I say the same...

Either for 1) trolling while fishing or 2) when your main motor takes a dump it'll get you home.

Man people **** me off!!

I talk to the guy yesterday and he says he's out of town until Monday, So I say I'll call him Monday and come by and see the boat.

Then I get a voice mail today that they sold the boat today...I would have come and bought it yesterday if someone was available!!!
