Hey guys, just found this site and hope I can get some help. I have a leak from my hydraulic tilt on my 03 Yamaha 150 HPDI. It doesnt appear to be coming from the rams. It is a slow leak. I can replace the fluid and it work fine for 4-5 days. Any body experience the problem or got any pointers?

Re: Hydraulic Leak

dissasemble the tilt ram and replace all the orings on the ram and cap.
if it doesnt drift down the memory piston oring is ok and its your choice to replace that oring or not.

Re: Hydraulic Leak

Is there a lot to that? The motor doesnt drift down. It just locks up in place until more fluid is added to it. So your saying the large ram in the middle needs to be disassembled and the o rings placed, not the two small ones at the bottom correct?
