There are a number of different things that could be called housing. None of them were ever sold as a seperately on a 1989 trim pump.
I never reccomend buying used pumps/motors. If the boat had been properly maintained then they wouldn't be selling you the parts.
You can find new assemblies here on Iboats and the pricing will be as good or better than anywhere else. You can find rebuild services on Ebay and be assessed a modest damage ($30-75) penalty for whichever part of core is broken.
If there are other good options then I haven't found them.
