Could use help figuring out why the Noerl cylinder that came with the kit will not fit my 1987 Johnson 150GT?
Any one that has information or maybe a photo of one of these? Any help with this greatly appreciated. Just
joined so learning how to use this site as well.

If your talking about a Sea Star system, the cylinder in the “standard” Evinrude kit (HC5345) does not fit your motor.

You need cylinder HC5348

I would like to say thanks for the welcomes and also the responses to my question.
Long story short bought this Noerl Kit off Amazon from Mophorn. Yes I know "dumb move"
Any way wondered if anyone out there had bought one of these and had the same
problem I am with mounting the cylinder. Dingbat gave me a number for the correct
cylinder and will check on that. I have only owned 3 boats in my life and guess like
everything else will learn the hard way. When I bought this one coffee shop friends told
me what BOAT stood for "BREAK OUT ANOTHER THOUSAND"! THANKS everyone for
your help on this matter.
