Hydrofoil for an Alpha Gen 1?

I have an older alpha One outdrive. A Gen 1 I believe. It has the little vertical trim fin zinc on the bottom of the outdrive. I think this may interefere with some hydrofoils. So, I thought I would ask if any of you know what hydro-foil would be best for the older outdrive?

I wanted to install a No-Drill SE Sport 400 foil, but I'm not sure it will work. Any suggestions?

A Doel fin is the Best IMO! It is the least intrusive, yet produces good results!

Bennett SLT-10 or Nauticus SX automatic trim tabs unless you know for sure that your hull runs OK with a fin. My boat ran like a drunken sailer and after I removed the PO installed fin I had a great boat. You can have my original Doel-fin for the cost of shipping (one day someone will take it, I hope). Used 10h at the most.
Unfortunately I can't sell you the 4 holes from my A1G2 drive....... :)

A Doelfin is cut out to fit around the trim fin, so that's what you want. I have one on MY AGen1 and it is simply fantastical.

I feel the Doel Fin is the best as well...back many years ago anyway. Curious as to what your trying to accomplish with the fin?

I had a doel fin on a 21' cuddy that I used to own. i took it off because it would cause the stern to wash out in a tight turn. When I took it off I also gained a few MPH at WOT

How does it behave in the water now? If you have not had it in the water I would wait until I found out how it behaves in stock form first.
