Hydrofoil on a 26' minicruiser? Has anyone done that?

Hi folks, I've been reading on this forum about the hydrofoils and how they help with handling and faster planing and am really curious if someone has installed one on a bigger boat.<br /><br />I have a 26' minicruiser with a 460 King Cobra setup and I could really use any improvement in handling and especially faster planing. Getting a #8600-bit*h on plane takes some time, y'all sure know what I'm talking about <br /><br />Thanks ahead for your responses, I'm curious how many people here have had good experience with hydrofoils/fins/stabilizers on their big boats.<br /><br />Lou

Years ago I put a hydrafoil on a 27 1/2' trailerable flybridge - Volvo/GM350. At the same time I also changed the prop. The combination worked well.
