I have a 90 HP Mercury Force Engine on my 17' NITRO. How would a stabilizer benefit me ?
Do you guys think it would even make a difference ?
Please let me know.

They will keep the nose down, they reduce porpoising, they add lift, they help short boats plane out faster/better. :D  :)

Re: HYDROFOIL STABILIZER !!!

I ordered one from bobs machine shop. Its made to fit around the cavitation plate. This one does not have huge wings out the side. They claim that it is much stronget than the plastic ones , I have not recieved it , maybe tonight.... It does look longer from to back which I think will help lift the fromt of the boat better. My 18 ft Baja bounces badly above 40 mph no matter what I do with the trim. not much I can do about the weight. gonna try the hydroplate if that does not do the trick I may go with a 4 blade prop ,, then on to trim plates, if needed.
