Hydrofoil, would a chuck missing cause it to LEAN to the left when riding????

My 18' Rinker bowrider with a mercruiser v6 has a lean to the left. I don't remember it doing that before, but I notice this chuck missing in my hydrofoil.

2 Questions:

1. Would this chuck cause it to lean to the left or is it just a weight problem?

2. If it is, what kind of hydrofoil do you recommend replacing it with?

It's just a few bolts, unbolt it and try the boat out, if the lean is gone, you know the HF is your problem.

Ayuh,.... #1,.. Possibly, 'n Possibly,... Take it Off, 'n Try it....

#2,... Smart tabs, or Bennett trim tabs,... Whale tails are rather poor bandaids,...

Throw that thing away. Get Bennet or Lenco tabs and enjoy boating safely.
