Does anyone know someone who is selling a hydrohoist for up to 10,000 pounds in the NY/NJ area? Please let me know.

Other then things like craigslist, I would call the hydrohoist dealers, they usually have used ones.

Well BigDog I'm coming up empty in your surrounding area. Find lots of in the inland lake areas, KY, TN. Found a new manufacture called Floatair out of South Carolina, but don't see any prices

When I was thinking of buying one, I was pretty much resigned to buying a new one. In my area, they get sold with the dock.

Ayuh,.... I've got one designed in my noggin', usin' 55gal. plastic barrels, 4" load straps, a water pump, 'n compressed air,.....

It's so far down the priority list, I'll never bother to build, 'n test it,.....

Besides, the hull growth on the mouth of the Chaumont river is minimal,....
A weekly Fast boat ride keeps the hull pretty darn clean,...

Original plan was to keep the leaky tinbarge from sinkin',....
A few pop-rivets was alot easier,...

Yeah that's what i am seeing here. They get sold in a matter of seconds. I guess its in high demand for salt water boaters.

Try contacting the local marinas. The sales dept usually has a good idea of lifts in the marina for sale that are not listed on Craigslist etc. I purchased mine that way as well as have directed 3 friends to the same result of finding them not listed but brokers knew of them.
