Hydroturf boat lining. Any experiences?

have any of you used the hydroturf stuff that mud buddy puts on their boats? It's a closed cell foam that they line the inside of their boats with. Deadens sound, insulates from hot/cold, doesn't absorb water etc.

I'm interested in putting some down on the floors and deck of my aluminum boat, but I'm worried about it's durability. Specifically, when I get it really muddy and wash it down with a pressure washer I'm worried that it's going to peal up or tear.

If any of you have experience with this stuff, please let me know good or bad.

Thanks,
Jordan

I have Hydroturf on my standup Jet Skis...great stuff. Not hard on the feet or knees and seems durable enough. And not at all slippery. My only concern would be cost...that stuff is NOT cheap

Yea I think to cover my entire 1760 flat boat it would be like 500 dollars. Probably not my best option, but maybe I could just cover the floors and not worry about the front and back deck. Mainly, I think it would be best in my situation to keep the ride a little bit smoother (standing up driving a center console flat bottom through open water is rough) and also will help deaden sound on the bottom of the boat. Sometimes we have a redfish or trout get loose in the bottom of the boat and the racket they make banging on the aluminum floors can be unbelievable.

I guess they hold up ok on jet skis if everyone is still using it, but I wonder if anyone's used it in their fishing/duck hunting boats that may be able to attest to it's durability?

thanks for the responses so far.
