my 9.9 evinrude's ser. is c98354 mod. 10725a what year is it and how do you tell please ?
I would also like to know for a friend's4.5 johnson ser. c8210843 mod. cj5rhcde and if you could please tell me the trick to seperate the exaust tube and the gear case to change the impeller on the 4.5

The "trick" is to use a Service Manual, which gives detailed instructions.
