I Finally bought a Motor but can't seem to fimd out what it is and what fuel mix to use. <br /><br />It is a Sears 7.5 217-5949-0 under that it has 3d <br /><br />I was told it is aircooled ... isthis true? <br />is that bad <br /><br />what fuel should I be using? <br /><br />and does anyone know what year it was made <br /><br />Thaks

Is it completly air cooled I have some very small vent holes and just wondered as i don't see any listing for a water pump.

hello<br /> ahhh the old eska. I ran a 5 hp on my 10 ft sears jon boat for years. the exhaust is water cooled. so it does have a water pump. in fact when my pump quit my poor eska caught on fire it got so hot. you should have a water mist coming from the little vent holes at the rear lower part of the exhaust leg. good luck and safe boating
