I have a 19871400 Capri with a Force 50 507X7C. Its a new to me boat Ive had it out on the lake twice and it ran pretty good. It started every time and I clocked it 23 mph on GPS with me and two 110 lg girls on board.

When I first got it the plugs looked good so I just cleaned them and gaped them at .030 . I was planing on going out tomorrow so I went to the parts store to buy new plugs. It turns out I had some champion motorcycle plugs in there. The manual calls for champion ul18v and they're flat and not like the ones I took out. I couldn't find the ones the manual calls for or the cross referenced NGK plugs.

Will I be OK with the motorcycle plugs tomorrow and why the flat head on the other ones?

Gapless is the style that goes with this Force motors. UL18V are gapless and should be perfect. The cross refs for NGK will be the BUHX. If you cannot find BUHX you can also use the BUHW. Since the motorcycle plugs had been working I don't see any reason why they would not work tomorrow.

You sure the model # you gave is right?
Might be missing a number??? 8??
According to his mod#
.The motor he has needs a gap type plug. L82C

Some of the 50's needs a UL81V Not the UL18V

The 18V was used on the 85/90 120/125 150
