a couple of months ago i pulled my boat and motor out to get it all ready for duck season. it had sat for a few months and i went to start my motor in a trash can and i couldnt get it started for the life of me. i changed the fuel, new fuel lines and all connectors, the spark plugs and finally got it started. i took it out a few times and it ran great. with just me in my 12 foot flat bottom my boat halls balls but the last few times i have taken it out even with just me in the boat when i have it wide open it runs strong for a second then it seems like it wants to die then it picks back up. so its just jumping back and forth. from high to low. i came home and dumped all the fuel out put fresh supreme fuel in the tank with no oil shook it up in the can and dumped it out then re-added fuel and the correct oil mix and ran my motor dry of fuel and it ran fine for a trip. but this last weekend i put it on my buddys 21ft jet sled because his jetpump has been running rough so i used my kicker as a back up and thank god i did cuz his motor would not run. but my motor is still doing the idle back and forth. it idles fine but my motor is the gear shift and throttle on the tiller handle. so i had it idling and took off the cover and i can manuely on the side of the carb kick it up to higher rpms and its fine but while in gear still does this problem. i really need help on this issue because im tired of it. i have had to on numerous times give it a very small shot of starting fluid to get it to start then it. and once it starts it always starts on the first pull... please help me on what you think i should do or what the problem may be. thanks for reading
