So I changed all my fluids about 3 weeks ago and went out today to do some more work on the restoration a noticed a gear oil smell. So looked at my drive and noticed that the lowest drain screw is slowly leaking gear oil. I tried tightening it up some more but it is on tight. There is a small puddle on the ground from it leaking. Drops are very, very slowly forming so it is not gushing out. Can I put a rubber o-ring on the screw to stop the leak? Or any other suggestions?

Ok I figured as much. Funny when I took the screw off to drain it there was no o-ring. Will pick one up tomorrow. Sucks I will loose some good fluid changing it out.
