Wel, I was looking at some CL ads over the weekend, searching for that pecial Starcraft that has my name on it.... And found this:
http://www.seaswirl.com/photos_new.cfm?model=626

I just loved the contour and overall looks.
So I guess I am wondering if there is more boats with same lines (heavier front, lighter rear), so I can drool even more?
Cheers,
Oleg

If you search for "dual console" boats you should find more similar. I agree it's a super nice boat.

Thanks Zebrex! It is waht I am looking for, but it is a bit far - over 1000 km one way. In the summer I would have made the trip, but in this season - no way.
I can just continue drooling.....

Oleg, I have a '98 SeaSwirl 2100 Dual Console. It is very similar to the boat you have chosen, however, it has lower freeboard in the bow, and a different hull design. I would like to see that "console changing room". There is some room in the console, but not that much.

There is a Stripers Owners Club (SOC) on the web. You might lurk there and get some info on it. BTW - The 2100 hull on my boat is not the best. I hear the 2101 hull is much better.

Hey Mate, That is a sweet looking machine, I think anyone would be happy to own one. I'm especially partial to dual consoles. If you want to drool some more check out the Grady White Dual Consoles. O.T.

Seaswirl makes a great hull, my dad has a 2401 and we love it.

I have to agree with EZ, that 18' SS w/ 115hp is a great deal if the OB is in decent shape.

Good luck in your search:)

Ok, now I need a mop to wipe off the drool from the floor :)
I Guess, I fell in love with this "whale" design. Grady is very similar. And it is good that I will have a choice when the time comes.

I think that "change room" is like a doghouse where you need to crawl in. Especially when I am 6'3" ;) .

I will search for it. Thanks!

Well 2401 is 24 feet, it is a bit too big for me (but who knows what will be "big for me" in couple of years).

If that Starcraft was somewhere near, then I would definatelly have it.... but what is with all good deals and US? I need a good deal in Canada! Or at least close to the border......

Ideally, though, I would like 16 footer with open bow for now - then I can store it in the garage and work on it in the winter and still have capaciy for couple more people.

That is exactly my situation and I found a nice 16' Starcraft SS:D

They are around here in lower Michigan/Northern Indiana if ya want to drive a few hundred km each way. Crazedlist.org has a Great Lakes search feature that helps find them quickly.

I am ok with few hundred, not thousand(s), thanks.
I am going through all the listings now. Great site. Thanks a lot!

Ideally, I am looking for same what you have. My garage is approx 20 feet, s it is going to be very tight. I did a bunch of research on removable/folding tongues for the trailer, so taht should help a bit. and probably will have to remove the motor for winter......
