Come to the conclusion over the weekend I'm obsessed with aiming. 2 handicap in golf. Pitch for a over 40 fastball team, duck hunting finatic, pool table in the house with dart boards everywhere. Use to deer hunt but the deer here in Ca. taste like crap(sagebrush) Wife says I can hit everything but the toilet. Fishing is all about hitting that spot as well. Anybody else have this disease

Guilty as charged. Your handicap is much lower than mine though :D I prefer to love "shooting"...golf, pool, darts, guns, my bow, my mouth off ;)

tylerin,
It's a control thing. Don't let it bother you. I too love to shoot. The farther the target the better. Now the toilet....

I love to aim too,.....'cause I "aim" to please!

Boy.......That was stupid. :p

Me and the boys usually just avoid the toilet, and go off the front porch,.......gotta love the country. :D

My aim is bad, and I know it..... That's why I'm addicted to explosives :)

I'm not all that hung up on AIMING; I like to get started in the general vacinity and then center by sound, Sometimes I will even attempt this in the dark....One more reason to leave the seat up. :D :D :D ;)

When I was young five feet back and walk up to. Now 30 years later I am more of a straddler and tend to hit a little to the left. Tried to adjust my sights but to no avail..

Tylerin – next time you go out for cow pasture pool, take you .30-cal with you. I hear the deer that are always grazing out at Spyglass or Pebble Beach in Carmel don’t taste like sagebrush. :)

30 cal  The way I've been hitting my driver lately, don't need it :D Than I could throw him up on the hood of my golf cart ;)

Re: I love aiming

I've always been facinated by the path of projectiles (trajectories). As a kid my brothers and i would build structures out of Lincoln Logs. We would then make small catapults and lob small logs against each others structures. That was one of my favorite games.
In the Army I was a crewman (rail ape and scope dope) on a Nike Hercules surface to air missile site. You can call me a sicko, but to this day, when I see a aircraft flying overhead, or even a goose, I find myself calculating altitude, heading, speed and time to intercept.
