Maybe the person with the correct answer has not come along yet. Keep bumping the post in question up and someone will respond. Happens all the time, so don't feel left out. Johnson and Merc questions seem to get the most replys, because they are the most well known. Hang in there... I do not know the answer to the water pump question, either. Nor do I know what the little balck bits are that are coming out. Has to be impeller parts or seal parts. This will get you back to the top of the list and I bumped another post of yours up, also..

Hi Bruce.

Your posts are so poorly constructed that it is very hard to find your question. Not many will spend the time trying to figure out what you are asking.

You questions need to be concise and not hidden in a story.

A previous water pump impeller disintegrated and is loose in the water jacket.

one guy wants as much info as possible, next guy says to much? Only tried to give what I thought was being asked for. Sorry if not concise enough.

The problem is the narrative, N2OR, not the amount of info.

Tell us what the symptoms are and what you have learned so far. . . as much as possible. When and where it happened is interesting, but not useful in figuring out what might be wrong.

Sorry if I offended you. Just trying to answer your question about why you are not getting more replies.

Good luck. :)
