I need help finding my model/serial number

I am having trouble finding the model/serial number on my Johnson outboard. I am fairly certain it is a 1971 model but I can't find any plates for identification. I find a lot of numbers on the engine but not sure of what I need to be looking for. I need to find the numbers to make sure I am ordering the correct replacement parts. Can anyone help?

I was in the same position as you up until 5 minutes ago. After finding a reference chart for the code it told me that they can be found on the motor plate itself or on a plate located on the mounting bracket. I found mine on the mounting bracket. Hope that helps.
