i need help on a 1973 165 hp gm omc stern drive

ok the motor that i got is a 1973 165 hp omc stern drive the model # 990210 f and the serial # 3553......the motor is lock up and i do not know how to fix it ....so the ? is WHAT MOTOR CAN I BUY USED TO PUT IN THERE THAT WILL LINE AND MACH UP WITH THE transmissions........ CAN I USED A TRUCK MOTOR OR DO I USED A BOAT MOTOR.......THE MOTOR THAT CAN I BUY TRUCK MOTOR PARTS FOR THE MOTOR .........THE BOAT CAME WITH CLYYMER OMC STERN DRIVE SHOP MANUAL 1964-1986 IS THIS THE RIGHT MANUAL TO MY MOTOR IF IT NOT WHAT ONE SHOULD I GET ....LET ME KNOW ANY THING WILL HELP

Are you sure it is the engine that is locked, and not the outdrive?
might want to remove the drive and recheck

It's a Chevrolet 250 cubic inch inline 6, used in cars and trucks from late 60's to about 1977 or so

that manual should be fine for an engine swap
