I need help with a 7.5 hp Gamefisher

Last year I bought a used 7.5 hp Gamefisher. It starts and runs fine as long as we are in the front of the boat. As soon as one of us moves to the back of the boat it loses rpm and will eventually die unless I increase the throttle. Any idea where to start? Thanks in advance.

float level, should be 11/64 from the bare lip of the carb body, u can use a 11/64 drill bit

Also, where can I get parts? The shift lever is broken right where the pin goes through.

i have a 7.5hp game fisher here. Lacks a lower unit but otherwise complete. Not siezed or anything. Interested?
