i/o power trim wont raise

The power trim in the mercruiser on my 87 searay<br />wont raise.<br />the motor runs fine but all I get when I hit the button to raise the trim is a single click. this was working fine when we put the boat in.The battery wont keep a charge either. I don't know if the draining battery is part of the problem or not but thought I should mention it incase the info helps.<br />I saw a question kinda like this one except it was just asking about the cost of solenoids.<br />Thank you for your time.

If the trim motor is running. Check the fluid level. It may just be low on fluid.

It could very well be the battery. That's happened a few times to me and it was a battery connection on our 91 Searay.
