http://wjz.com/local/local_story_028191827.html

thousands of us jumped into the Chesapeake Bay yesterday in support of the special olympics. we collectively raised over $1M.

a bit cold, but a lot of fun. takes your breath away when the water hits your waist, but once back on the beach, all was good.

So lemme ask you this....did you wear a coconut-shell bikini? ;)

Seriously, it takes alot of good people to raise $1M in one afternoon. :)

Re: i plunged!

There are literally hundreds of better ways to raise money for good causes, i think that it was more of an experiment to test the rate of shrinkage ;)

Re: i plunged!

yes, the shrinkage factor was high.

the outifts some people wore were hillarious. if you can imagine it, someone was wearing it. i was tempted to go with a speedo, but went with the board shorts.

forgot to mention the super plungers. they started on friday at noon, and plunged every hour on the hour for 24 hours straight, finishing up at noon on saturday. they alone raised over $200K.
