ok hear it goes if i have a 14.5"x 21p cupped aluminum prop and replace it with a ss 14.5" x 21 cupped prop will i get more speed from the ss prop my rpm at wot is at the top end 4600 rpm on this 4.3 omc engine

You're asking a loaded question. We'll be comparing a new prop to a used prop. The ss prop will hold it's shape better therefore it can be produced with a more complex blade shape.

You mention cup. Is the existing prop cupped for stern lift or bow lift? Or overall lift? What about the ss prop? How much rake is in each prop? Are both props made with progressive pitch? If so, is the progression the same? Are both props measured at the same place in the progression?

Generally speaking the ss prop has the ability to have less slip (better bite). Whether it actually has less slip or not depends on how it's made. The bottom line is that not all 21" props are created equal. Not all 21" props are designed to do the same thing.
