I still need help on 15hp tiller.

I would appreciate any help given on what the orginal markings were on a 1995 15hp evinrude tiller handle. Also what is the purpose of the button on the end of the handle?

The button at the end of the tiller handle is part #0336347 "PLUG, Idle adjustment".
