I think I have water in my flotation foam Please help

I installed monster tabs on my new to me 89 fiberglass bass tracker and when I drilled the holes in the transom on one side water leaked out. This was only on the right side and only from one hole but I now wonder if, or how much water is in there. The area seems to be glassed in. Should I drill a small hole from the battery compartment and suck it out or what is the best method

You cant suck it out, and it will never dry. The only cure is to cut it out and replace it.

Come visit with us in the restoration forum and start reading the fiberglass boat resto threads and you'll get a real good idea of what needs to be done.
