I think I messed up ?? HELP

[Cast-A-Way]

I rebuilt the transom and engine well on my 18 foot I/O
I had left the outer skin of the transom and rebuilt from inside out
After pulling the boat out of the garage tonight I noticed a few voids when I banged the outside of the transom with a rubber mallet

How bad is this ?

Potentially bad, but not unrepairable. You may just have to drill small holes and inject epoxy into them to seal them up.

I just went back to have another look and it seems that around the I/O opening it almost 1/4 gap ???

what can I expect for failures ??

I'd agree with Red. Drill some small holes and inject epoxy into it to bring it to full then just cover the holes as usual

where are you?

if you are anywhere where it freezes, then it needs to be fixed before the weather goes cold.....

water will condence in there....(sweat) and in the winter, it will freeze and the outer skin will crack and break....

if you do as suggested, try a funnel and a hose held up high. it can save you some time, but it will take lots of epoxy.
