Got my chain ratteled this evening.. so this is the email I sent to channel 5 and ccd 4 then did a paste for 7, 11, and 13.. <br /><br />I know yours is not the only station where the anchors "always have to put in a dig" about the President. But your station was the one we were watching tonight while I was having coffee at a local cafe. While your anchor was talking about the upcoming 11 pm news and the Ft Lewis soldiers deploying over seas, he just had to say "For the war the President said was over". He then went on as if he had just been reporting the news! Of the five of us at the coffee counter, four agreed to do what I have already done, Channel 5 no longer exists on our tuner.<br />In order to be fair any other station that does the same will be deleted also. <br /> <br />L.R Jackman<br />5245 Filbert LN SW<br />Lakewood WA 98499<br /> <br />This has also been sent to channel 4, 7, 11, and 13<br />Ugg.. Thumbs up to you! I hate the way Anchor's get their jabs in! Especially when they forget that the Man said this would be a long hard war on Terror, from the very begining. I got so sick of their jabs, and them editing to their advantage that years ago, I quit watching the news, and reading the paper! I do watch a show or two now and then, with my luck, one of my favorite shows would be on the channel I needed to boycott. Not to big a deal now, sense they took HOME IMPROVEMENT off the air. <br /><br />More Power! ARRUGH ARRUGH ARRUGH!

Good on ya. I guess I could do the same, but just tell the following: NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN and all local news stations that I don't even watch their news anymore. I get my news from various internet sites of different "slant" and decide for myself. Of course, Drudge Report is a favorite with links to all the big news services. While its no question the mainstream broadcast media editors have always had their opinions on things (they're human), it has gone way too far and now the anchors all spew their opinion, not the news.

When I come home, the wife switches to reading the news from the Internet. She knows I can't stand to hear that crap. I get enough of the idiots out in the world everyday. I don't want it in my home.

There was a report on less viewers of TV and less are watching. DUH When is the media gonna a learn that true blue Americans hate anything that is doom and gloom about our country. I personally seem to have my blood pressure up after watching the news. I feel that it shouldn't be that way.<br /><br />The media to me is a breeding ground for copy cats across the country. Plus it helps feed those wacko enviormentalist that think every furry creature has rights. This just gets more wackos in thier movement. Reports lately say the Snowy Owl has been removed from the endangered species. To find out they are nesting in suburbs? DUH!<br /><br />IMHO if the wacko's were around during the dinosaure era, they would be doing their best to preserve them. I know I'm glad that I don't have to worry about one of them stepping on my house! Doing fine without dinosaurs if you ask me.

Yep, we got some of those anchors here too. Around here, if a robbery or rape is commited, they won't say the skin color of the perp if they are black. They give a discription of hieght, wieght, what they were wearing, and then hair style. Last week two guys hit a convienience store, one with a tight weave and the other with corn rows. I'm not making this up WTF
