Anybody else think it would be cool to have an iboats iPhone forum app? I find myself messing around on these forums at all hours of the day when I'm bored.
Also if you were out on the water and your engine crapped out you could do a quick search and try to trouble shoot the problem quickly to get back to shore.
People have been posting and asking questions via smartphones for years. Happened all last summer and the summer before. The iphone safari browser works and so does the android and blackberry.............
If you want a cutsy little app I do not think there is one in the works yet.........
I'm aware that a smartphone browser will work, thats what i used to post this thread just saying it would be neat to have it as an app. Its not "cutesy" its convenient, And no there is not one that works yet thats why i posted this thread sir. Just making a suggestion.
i book marked iboats on my phone. its just as simple and convient as an app. it keeps me logged in and when ever i want to post of browse i open my browser and open the bookmarks and there it is. simple enough!
Facebook works fine on smart phones. So does ESPN and many other websites. Apps just make things a bit more convenient and streamline. I don't think people use them because they are cutesy, they save time and make things easier.
