iboats.com, one of the leading Internet boating web sites announced today they just reached three major milestones within their online Boating Forums: (1) the number of answers to boaters questions, called posts passed the 2 million mark; (2) the number of questions boaters have asked on the iboats Forums just passed 300,000; (3) and the number of "members" who have signed up within these Forums passed 150,000 people.
The 300,000 different questions have received answers from an average of 6.9 different posts, an increase in answers per question of 14.8% over the last two years. Some specific questions receive as many as 50 or even 100 or more answers from different helpful boaters, mechanics, and other technicians, iboats.com said.
"There are large numbers of boaters throughout North America and the world who continue seeking help on a wide range of boating and marine-related topics," said Bruno Vassel III, chairman and CEO of iboats, inc. "To give you a feel for how much our Forums are being used, some of the most
