In a press release issued today, iboats.com announced that at the recent Barclay and Land ‘N’ Sea annual dealer meeting in Chicago, IL 42 additional boat dealers signed up to start using the iboats-built and hosted dealer web site, or the iboats online marketing package that attaches to and enhances existing dealer web sites.
“We are very pleased with the outstanding response that we received at these meetings from a very broad cross-section of boat dealers to our new and improved dealer web site program,” said Ben Rowell, iboats.com’s Sr. V.P. of Business Development. “More and more dealers now see the clear advantages that listing their boats online with us can provide for them, especially their ability to sell more boats. And because our monthly cost to dealers is by far the lowest in the industry, it’s really a no-brainer for them to get involved.”
Mr. Rowell continued, “The iboats-network of boating-related web sites got 2.6 million visitors in the month of July, 2002. That was 1.2 million more visitors that month to our sites than the number two and number three boating web sites got.” See graph below. “That kind of dramatic traffic volume is then directed to our participating boat dealers’ web sites, helping them to sell more boats…and that’s what we are all about, helping dealers to sell more boats.”
