We have completely redone the look and functionality of the iboats marine mall and checkout. This is where we sell 60,000+ boating parts, props, boat covers, accessories, electronics, etc. If you have visited the mall before, please take a second and take a look at the new "look and feel". Anything that improves the search function in MegaMall is appreciated. I noticed with the new changes, now only handheld VHF and cordless searchlights are included in a search for a ‘battery charger’. <br /><br />Admin 5 – the MegaMall has a long, long, long way to go before it is competitive on finding product. If a buyer knows exactly what they want, it is a good resource for price comparison. If someone is looking for any general item, the product descriptions are inadequate to the point of maybe even being misleading…for somethings.

I saw the changes on Thurs.<br />Looks good.<br /><br />Making out my list, but couldn't find a water pressure guage kit for the life of me. <br /><br />Also, had difficulty deciphering which engine parts were the right parts(impellers, waterpumps, etc.) The parts numbers? don't seem to match and the descriptions were vague. I don't want to find out I have the wrong parts after I have the motor torn down. Sorry.<br /><br />Unrelated feedback: Thrifties sale area.<br />Glad you provided it to us. <br /><br />Items are listed alphabetically, with new listings popping up in their place. It would be easier to find newly listed item if they were listed chronalogically by the date they are posted.<br /><br />Thanx for listening to my ramblings.

looks nice A5 <br />in a recent thread, a member asked where to get<br />a new gas tank. I did a search in mall and none<br />showed up. assuming you didn't carry them, I gave<br />him a link to the competition. search was for<br />"gas tanks". if I would have tried "fuel tank"<br />instead, I would have seen that Iboats carried<br />them. not that I don't think the mall is very<br />good, but there's always room for a little improvement

Great comments everyone. I am amazed at how much we still have to do to get the mall to where we want it. You are all right that there are many more improvements to go and I hope that our great prices and selection help to make up for some of our shortcomings. Please always remember that we plaster our toll free number all over the mall for a reason - if you can't find something or need more info we are here to help!<br /><br />I think that our category searches are the best way to find things right now instead of doing a keyword search. For example, if you are searching for battery chargers like you mentioned, click on the electrical category and then charger subcat. Again, we are working hard to make things easier and have some huge enhancements coming within the next few weeks/months that will continue to improve your shopping experience with us. yea admin its a little hard to negotiate but the prices I have encountered so far have been good. My wife is still mad at me for the last order but she will get over it. After all she sees how happy I am with my new pt135
