iBoats Prop Error FORCE 90HP Outboard

Hi Fellow Boaters!

I received my new Solas prop, order exactly what was already on the motor and when I went to switch them out, the end of the prop will not slide into the outdrive and hits the outer rim, preventing it from mounting correctly. YES, the washer is in place. :redface:

1991 FORCE 90 HP on a 1991 Bayliner Capri Runabout.

CLOSE-UP pics of both props?
Most aftermarkets suck.
Mercury dealers,I've found are the best bet for an aftermarket prop.
Take your old in and match it up.
Unfortunatly MOST Merc dealers gouge you.J

Does the prop have a removeable plastic ring? Some have this to fit the larger diameter Mercury gearcase and when the ring is removed the prop will plug into the smaller diameter Force gearcase.
