Is it me or do some of you have problems finding what you want when you do a search. I always get extra topics. For example if I search for tach I can get posts (will not start, running hot......etc).<br /><br />Oh yes it does list posts on tach just takes time to sort them out it the old brain.

I used the other day and it worked great, I found exactly what I was looking for. I tried the same search this morning and and the topics i was reading last week dont come up.

The Iboats search engine finds all these words or phrases if you search for "tach":<br /><br />TACHOMETER<br />Tach<br />attach<br />Attachment<br />Great achievement<br /><br />It also seems to miss posts that have been moved (at any point) and use strange punctuation. It is a challange to use it effectively.

Thanks JM and Paul. Know I have a better understand and my be able to do a much better job of searching.

It does the same thing in the mega mall. <br />I can't figure it out.<br />Searched for "fuel filter" a while back, and it came up with a cup holder. ??

Google works well for me searching the mega-mall (stick a "site:iboats.com" in the search arguments). I wish I could do the same on the forums!
