If Hugh is back that's a good reason to watch another channel

Hughey's not driving in Alaska. I don't think Carlile wanted him back. Too wreckless.

He said he was "sick of the Dalton". I think the Dalton was sick of him.

Nope, he's up in Canada too. From what I gather, that had a real short season up there last year. Things look more promising this year.

I like Alex. Calm, cool, freindly, safe.

Like any of these "reality" shows, they're coached to play it up for the cameras......

Enough I say to the ice trucker series......It gets to be as redundant, and as dramatically played, as watching basket weaver competition in Nigeria.

Re: Ice Road Truckers.................

I had to laugh last night.

The new young lady from New Yoooork arrives. On her test drive, she wants to "flip off" a four wheeler. Her instructor calmly informed her that "Alaskan's carry guns". That blew her mind and gave her a reality check.;):D

Yes, there is a lot of drama, no doubt. But, it is interesting to see how people deal with those conditions. Been there (Prudhoe/Deadhorse), know it.

As far as the "Canadian Front". Hughy's out there beating the hell out of his equipment. I don't think those roads are tougher-just rougher. Speeds are pretty slow but taking a Sleeper Tractor into that environment is just asking for failure. Hughy "barrels on" damming his equipment, or anybody elses', and goes. I'd FIRE him in a minute. Beat up his own stuff, if you will, is his own choice. I just don't think he is SAFE. Plus, his BLUE haired/Mohawk side kick is a loose cannon. He didn't fair to well in India, as I recall.

I've never been a full time trucker. However, I would think that getting a load to a destination UNDAMAGED would be a priority!

The NEW drama is the Alabama Trucker. What a conceited/arrogant piece of work. He thinks he knows it all. As I recall, there aren't any 11%, ice covered grades, in the lower 48.

There is one telling thread throughout the whole drama: Those that are unwilling to learn (know it all's) always fail!

Re: Ice Road Truckers.................

last year hugh left and saw some equipment rubbing on the trailer, his attitude was "I didn't pack it, oh well" and it got damaged in transit, turns out the chains were loose from the drive. Seems like that sums up his attitude.

Lisa is adorable.

I think it was Hughy and Rick who passed the trailer that was snapped in half. Hughy commented about the driver going too fast. I'm waiting for Hughys truck to snap. That thing was rocking every direction over the rough roads. I guess every village has an idiot.... Hi Pauly(no reference to the idiot! lol).....

Mindya, the logging truck drivers around here throw the jewlery on every tire, these bush roads aint pretty, the ice roads look like a cake walk compared to some of the iced up chutes they call haul roads. ;)
