ID on Evinrude year

I have just purchased a 15HP Evinrude Short Shaft Model #E15 RENM, Serial #Go3167472. The previous owner stated it was a 1993 but purchased late in 1992. Just wanted to know which year and any help would be appreciated! It also has a stainless steel prop, can this prop be used on the similar model 9.9's?<br /> Ownsbud56

1992, Ownsbud.<br /><br />I see no reason that the prop wont work on other 9.9 and 15 JohnnyRudes.
