Ident engine

Hello need help identifiying engine. The #s i find on all the tags look nothing like what was shown in other post my #s are modle #985685 serial # t0633357 vin # T-1110206 do these #'s make since could'nt find anything that looked like what shows in my manual or previus post Thanks for your help

Google says that 985685 is a 4.3L OMC cobra sterndrive. Did you take that number off the drive?

Ayuh,.... This would be abit Easier if ya gave Us a few hints,...

Like the number of cylinders,... maybe the suspected vintage, or even the manufacturer, or the color of it....

yea it is a 4.3 gm I got the #s from the rocker arm cover & outdrive just wandering why this did'nt have the long set of #s & letters that i see in the manual & from other post. Am i not looking in the right place for these #s?
