Identify 5.0 GXi please

Hi. I'm looking at a boat online that I like. Broker states it has a 2003 5.0 GXi but something looks amiss. Please take a look at the pic. Looks to me like it has some type of aftermarket carb on it. Can anyone identify this engine? Thanks in advance.

Can't see any picture but the "i" nomenclature indicates that the engine is fuel injected, not carbureted, so that could be why it looks different. Check out the VP engine database for the full scoop: http://www.volvopenta.com/volvopent..._engines/Pages/out_of_production_engines.aspx .

Could be a TBI system not a carb, but without a picture it could be anything.
