Re: Identify Starcraft Model????

It looks like a hatch in the bow. I think some of the early Holidays had a bow hatch. Maybe it's been converted to dual console. A P.O.s version of a closed bow SuperSport. Just guessing. Probably too old to have a HIN.

This page from the '63 brochure shows the hatch, can't tell about the bow light. The specs page of the brochure has the measurements to compare with.

I dont think it that model as it has never had a windshield(no holes) and the railing looks factory installed..Thanks

My vote would be a carved up holiday. Hand railings are easy to install therefore can look factory IMHO. Holes for the windshield could have been filled. Consoles from a SS. Love the bow light.

I think that one's been modified past the point of recognition.

I'd guess early 60s Holiday, it resembles HopeSheFloats' '61 Holiday that he sold.

The full lapstraking indicates early 60s to me. Nice old rig:)

Tough to tell but maybe a Holiday (chopped).

Course, you can make it anything you like now!:D

After removing some PO installed material it appears to be a "chopped" Chieftain or Islander as I found holes that come all the way back to midships. The motor is a 1963 75hp.

That makes sense. That bow deck looked stock but was too big to have been from an open bow like a Mariner or SS but was too small to have been from a Holiday. So early 60's Chieftain it is.
