ID'ing my Evinrudes

Hello everyone,

Let me first say this site is unbelievably helpful. Thank you.

I have a 6 hp evinrude and a 9.9 and don't know the years on them.

The model number for the 9.9 is 10424S, and the serial is E0007278.

I only have the serial for the 6 because the plate is gone. It's J3063748.

The six horse is the one on the ground in its picture, the ten horse is on the stand.

10424S is a 1974 9.9 Evinrude model number.

The Johnson Serial number you gave for the 6HP is around 1969. You may have to contact a BRP dealer to get more exact.
