Idle exhaust boot insert

I have a 1988 Force 125 and having a tough time finding parts as some parts are not available any longer. I ordered an exhaust boot kit FK1204-1 and did not realize I needed to order the insert separately. This piece melted and I can not find one anywhere. It is an idle exhaust boot insert part #816513 which replaces part # F85258. I live in Tennessee where things are far and few between. Have searched the internet like crazy....any ideas on what to do or how to get this part. Thank you

A "BIG" stainless washer drilled out to fit.
Anything plastic could melt.

Thought the same thing to find something else like maybe in plumbing.....but I don't know the measurements of the piece....what can I do now???? lol

oops, put wrong part # down. This insert goes into the exhaust boot #895012A01. It is #4 on the leg diagram

Busters Marine Service on Ebay says they have one??
Problem is: they don't show a picture.

Already tried them but thank you Jerry. You said a big washer drilled out to fit. Can you explain that in more detail. Are you saying to out the washer on the inside of the exhaust boot where this piece should go? I have read many comments from you on this exhaust boot stuff.

Big washers drill out so there's no restriction.
Might have to weld 2-3 together??
Or strech the spring to make it fit?
