Wasn't sure if I should start another thread or continue on my other. I have a 72 65 HP Johnson hydro-electric drive with push buttons. I finally got it running great on all 3 cylinders. It idles fine. When I took it to the lake I had difficulty with idle when in gear. Gave it full throttle and ran great, got 30 MPH according to my speedometer. I have looked in the manual and can't identify the adjustment on the cylinder like attachment that hooks the throttle cable to the engine. It screws in and out but I'm not sure how to adjust it. On the side of the engine it says to disconnect the cable to make the idle adjustment. Can someone help? Also do I bring the engine to idle position on the lever when I shift from forward to reverse? It clunked into gear because I was having trouble keeping it running and probably had rev's up too much. Thanks again. Leont
