Idle RPM for 2001 F115

My F115 (Mercury) seems to be idling slower than I recall, 800 RPM. What is the correct idle speed ? It is also stalling when quickly coming off of high R{M operation and difficult to restart. I think the IAC is sticking.

My F115 (Mercury) seems to be idling slower than I recall, 800 RPM. What is the correct idle speed ? It is also stalling when quickly coming off of high R{M operation and difficult to restart. I think the IAC is sticking.

IAC was sticking ! I soaked it in a bucket of carb cleaner for 24 hours and then gave it some good shots of brake cleaner right at the pintle.

Based on the dashboard tach, the "correct" idle is about 1000 rpm.
